An extra place to visit with very wonderful camp host and the fishing was great. we also felt safe and secure during our visit.

We had a lovely time during our visit to Spadra Park. My husband was working in town for a few days, so we took the opportunity to try out a new camping spot, and it exceeded our expectations! Our campsite had a wonderful view of the water and was near the camp hosts, which was nice. Yes, the train comes through several times a day, but the AC was running in our RV most of the time, so it was not a bother.
Visitors should be aware, however, when making reservations, that not all of the campsites have water hookup available (as other reviewers have also mentioned).
While we did not visit the marina during this stay, we had previously visited the marina on a day trip, and it was very lovely!
We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings (before it got too hot), watching the wildlife and barges pass by on the river. It was very peaceful, and we look forward to returning for another visit soon.

The park is clean, mowed and roads and hosts are good.
The park district needs to budget for remodeling bathrooms as they are old and worn. Sinks are leaning down as well as moldings on floor. Lots of rust and no electrical outlets. I also would recommend adding water spigots to section C as I’m sure the water main is running past these sites to D (where we had water)
It’s a beautiful area.

We had a wonderful time our grandson’s fish. It was a little hot, but we still enjoyed the hot. Powerful showers. Very clean area if you want to be at a quiet, nice friendly place Spadra Park is the place. We will definitely feedback.

This park would be really nice if they would keep the grass mowed. I got covered in chiggers walking my dog! Park needs attention.
