Peaceful and private, with lots of room inside and out. From the big deck overlooking the creek, I could hear trogons, painted redstarts, and sulphur-bellied flycatchers calling.

As always, the Kent Springs cabin is a delightful escape into nature. So many birds, so much wildlife to enjoy. Never dissappoints.

Incredible, one of a kind property, set back in total privacy in what can be a very busy Madera Canyon.
Hiking ventures begin right off the property in a beautiful wooded, boulder strewn setting complete with a small creek running in early spring.
Found the cabin to be orderly, clean and maintained by prior guests and Forest Service staff.

Wonderful cabin in a beautiful location. Many hikes just steps away. Large deck with hummingbirds, a running stream, and quiet beauty.

We had another wonderful stay at Kent Springs, our 5th visit here! We were treated to visits by Turkeys and Acorn Woodpeckers on the deck.
The water issues reported by others were resolved; the water truck came while we were there on Dec 26th to refill the tank. We noticed no strange odors in the water and it was clear.
There are still mice hanging around the kitchen at night, so very important to keep all food stored securely! The kitchen is well stocked, though could use a few more mugs.
We already have another reservation to come back in the summer! The cabin is a joy to stay in, so peaceful with such beautiful surroundings.
