Webb Creek Park

Overview

Webb Creek Campground on Clearwater Lake greets visitors with excellent camping, fishing, swimming, boating and picnicking opportunities. Water sport enthusiasts love the lakes diverse offerings, from boating to jet skiing and canoeing to swimming. Clearwater is considered a "wilderness lake" because it lacks private boat docks and offers plenty of unspoiled shorelines to explore.

Recreation

Wildlife viewing is popular with wetland waterfowl, fox, deer and geese. Picnicking is also a favorite pastime, as is lounging on the beach, boating and fishing.

Facilities

Webb Creek Campground offers 31 sites, both electric and non-electric. Most of the campsites are located on a wooded hillside and each campsite offers a fire ring and picnic table. Additional amenities include a dump station, showers, boat ramp, playground and a swimming area.

Natural Features

The lake, surrounded by the picturesque hills of the Ozarks, is fed by the Black River. Average temperatures range from 33 to 59 degrees Fahrenheit in March, and 65 to 92 degrees in summer.

Nearby Attractions

Part of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, stop by a historic sawmill known as the Klepzig Mill, or visit Blue Spring, Reed Spring and Rocky Falls while in the area. Elk viewing is available at Peck Ranch Wildlife Reserve. For those looking for a fun outing, a drive-in movie theater is also nearby.

My husband and I loved our stay here. Mark, the host, was absolutely fantastic! He takes good care of his campers and very friendly. The bathrooms and showers were clean and kept clean. We will definitely be back hopefully again this month!

Nice campground, albeit hilly. We went there to watch the April 8th solar eclipse. We chose site 14, no electric, and just a short walk to the restrooms. We had a great view of the lake. We were in the perfect spot to watch the eclipse. There is a small snack with breakfast items (served all day) and pizza and limited supply shop at the marina. We would return to Webb Creek.

Womens restroom up top at the shower house was HORRIBLE , no running water in the sink, tons of bugs and spiderwebs, toilets were all super dirty. Mens shower house & bathroom were filthy. Women's shower house had huge spiders and tons of webs looking as if it hadn’t been used in forever. We couldn’t utilize either in the shower house/ bathrooms. The other restroom on the lower part were pretty much the same & the mens restroom was caked with feces. Both of those restrooms were nasty. Dump station did not allow us to dump our waste. It had a cone over it with no sign that said out of order.

The 30 amp electric was not working. Bathrooms and showers were not clean (nasty). Concrete table had algae growing on it. Place is not for big campers

Site is very short. Had a 31' camper and had to park the truck sideways. The shower house was gross and the bathrooms not kept up at all. The 110V receptacle has a dead short and was never able to work. The views are nice but this campground is showing its age and poor upkeep.

we have a 35 foot camper. we could not get it in the terrible spot. ditch on one side, and trees on the other. we are seasoned campers, and have a camera on the back of the camper. spot was horrible. we drove 3 1/2 hours to get there, and it took 4 1/2 hours to get home due to fog. it was horrible, and we wasted the money for the camp site. What a terrible experience.

The very best of the park were the park attendants Greg and Lisa (I give them 5 stars!) They kept bathrooms and showers clean and were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Wish they were all like them! The park itself has very narrow, very steep roads, so not much room to maneuver into your spot with a bigger rig. We were in spot #22 with a 40’ fiver. When booking online you have to put 10 for party size and it says they have only 30 amp-we had 50 at #22. We did manage to get directv but NO Verizon cell reception. The marina does have public wifi if you go in and ask.

The sites are very close together and most of them are sloped and on hillsides. Had trouble backing in to our site and we just had a pop up. The shower house only had one curtain up and the water was cold quick. The bathrooms were very dirty as well. Other than that it’s quiet. The Marina is nice.

The campsite was very well placed! I drank coffee every morning while the fog lifted off the lake! The people at Webb Creek Marina were extremely friendly and helpful. We rented a pontoon boat from them, and we had a great time! Will definitely be back!

More pics of the sites would be better. I know there's not much to the sites, but the surroundings and the lay out. Showing up to a site and not being able to back up a hill with a camper isn't always the easiest for some people. So the more information they have the better

We enjoyed Webb Creek Park very much. The only thing we saw that could could be improved was the bathroom. Specificily, the outhouse style bathroom. Otherwise, everything was great. We will be back.

Geared towards RV's and campers, not tent camping. All sites are on hills and very close together. Not many sites with level spots for tents unless you put your tent on concrete.
