Dam is beautiful and next to the lake to swim. Just make sure you get across before they close at 10. A couple pebbles but level and open. Nice area.

While it was hot, the campground was quiet. The Camp Host was friendly and kept eyes on the campers with out being intrusive. We were trailer camping so I didn't have to use the restroom. We were in site #14 right on the river. There is no river access but the view was wonderful

When we arrived we discovered that most of the campground had recently became reservation only. The camp host, Brian, helped us reserve 5 sites. Brian is very friendly and helpful! Some people camped behind us in the overflow area that ran their generator 24/7, despite the quiet time rules. It was so hot we needed windows open in our RV so the sound was pretty bothersome. We mentioned it to Brian and we believe he spoke to them but nothing changed. Other than these issues, the campground was great!
